3:03 everyone else raging about the pick up truck destruction and i'm over here noticing andrew is one of the only people that actually removes the fluids from the engine before erm.... dismantling, instead of just letting it drain away on the floor or ground.
@roadrash904 жыл бұрын
Haha yeah, I was thinking the same because years ago when I was in a scrap yard (junk yard) there was this massive explosion there and a huge fire broke out because when they were dismantling the cars all of the petrol (gasoline), oil and diesel ran down the yard into underground tank system and the gas cutter started it with a spark. I got a ruptured eardrum from it and got a life time 50% off anything I buy there ha.
@TWX11384 жыл бұрын
Auto wreckers around here are usually pretty efficient about removing fluids. Unfortuantely to a fault, it's almost impossible to find an intact fuel tank because they drain them by piercing them open. As for the truck itself, it was clearly a rusted-out heap, not a lot of value in it for anything but parts. i'm a little surprised he didn't strip the interior though, that looked like it was in much better shape than his gray one's is.
@roadrash904 жыл бұрын
@@TWX1138 Is that the pickup he "custom" fitted with radio/screen thingy with a chainsaw lol? Yeah everything as changed over the years here, the scarp yards have to separate the coolant, petrol, diesel, and all the other different oils but, what I don't get is we have to use this stuff here (Ireland) called adblue, it's a special mixture for all newish diesels that is fed into the exhaust and reacts with the fumes to cut down on emissions (Google it if you're not sure) but, we have to handle that stuff more safety than other liquids?? I don't think it's flambe it's just whatever is in it I guess, and I know for fact that urine is in it because it's wrote on it lol. Next we'll be putting poop in petrol cars haha.
@cookieshousecannabisco69634 жыл бұрын
@@roadrash90 DEF, that's basically standard for every diesel engine in the developed world now. it's just water and synthetic cat pee, but it's very corrosive to metal.... so just imagine what it's doing to the inside of that engine. :)

For the 362 Jagoffs who thumbs-downed...you don't get it. This was entertainment....like when you were a kid and took an old radio apart with no intention to put it back together...AC is a YT genius when it comes to content, production, sense-of-humor/shtick, love of God’s creatures, and has grown into a naturally gifted narrator. Loved him including the repaired Burke Bar which was a special tool made for him by an accomplished craftsman (who described AC as a “force of nature”). In my view, this video was a distraction/stress relief to the immense job he has over his head; literally with the roof project. He eluded to “morale” of the “worker”s in an earlier episode tying it to a clean work-space…this young man is human after all. Yes, he’s put his life out in public for all to see and critique which tells me he has plenty of fire in his belly to weather the limp-dick descension-obsessed, basement-dwelling, crusty-underwear-wearing internet trolls. Soldier on Mr AC with prayers for your health and safety…you have changed/influenced many lives.

Loved the video and it reminds me of two things I always think, other than Andrew outworks all of us. First, the sheer power of these excavators is incredible, especially with the thumb. That excavator easily lifted that truck body with a couple of inches of snow in it at the beginning of the video, then made short work of that pickup. I mean it was no contest. Second, the strength of bedrock must be incredible too, because it seems to be the only thing that defeats one of these excavators, absent the hammer attachment. I work at a job that doesn’t put calluses on your hands so these things amaze me.

I have always said, You have to wear your seat belt under penalty of law, but the brake lines are made to dissolve and could go any time. Salting roads is tantamount to attempted murder regarding brake lines as manufactured.

I live in northern Canada and have had a few " Oh Sh*t ! " moments with brake line failure . I 100% agree with your comment .

Just want to say thank’s for your great work and channel. You don’t fake it, you make it! ;-) It’s a great show to watch and yes, child friendly. Good job in every way. Better than “Bob der Baumeister” and much to learn. Landscape reminds me to Sweden and Norwegian. Chilly and calm. Best after a boring day in the office. Stunning! Greetings from north Germany and keep on rolling!

I've owned several Dodge trucks over the years, most impressive feature is the tailgate cables! Another Great video Mr. Camarata. Something we've all wanted to do to our trucks, at least once! :)
