I have yet to regret spending $ on Sorcery. The opening experience, fun of sealed/draft, and the beauty of the product are second to none IMO. Just an amazing game.

it's nice to have a nice looking game that isn't shoving out new sets of cards every few months, hopefully we get as close to once a year as possible

I haven’t had a chance to play Sorcery or buy anything for it. I’ve been playing Flesh and Blood lately and I’m happy. I don’t have much of a reason to look at the other TCGs but I am curious about Sorcery so I might try it at some point.

BTW somebody already did the math: to get every unique foil you'll need to open 900 boxes, so best way is to trade or buy singles on the secondary market if you want to collect every card in Arthurian Legends.
@Nahtan.975819 күн бұрын
this goes for every tcg, never try to collect all the cards by opening packs, it's never worth it unless you have the money to afford it
@DrJamboniusАй бұрын
I usually do not open tcg's boxes (Except from draft/seal tournaments), but i opened several AL ones just for pure fun and fun it was. Did not get chase cards, but it doesnt matter, will keep that precious moment with friend forever in my head ;)

Game looks cool but after getting into fab I learned that these games with smaller player numbers (fab included) can have some real liquidity and supply issues. Great fun opening experience for sure but my expectations whenever I buy into one of these games is that the money is more or less gone unless it sticks around for 10+ yrs
@cardfishАй бұрын
good advice, ill probably be following for future sets in terms of just taking some time to get some Non-foil play sets only which is much more sustainable. I've been chasing foil sets so far but after AL will stop doing so (time and money).

I hear That one of the Sorcery Team sad, That maybe they ll Not Reprint every unic in the Same Artwork like there Now. But they did not say which ones.
@fabledacademyАй бұрын
Is there a source for this that you can link?
@DrJamboniusАй бұрын
@@fabledacademyDuring kickstarter, Eric O. said the artist own the right to their art, and Sorcery uses them for a maximum of 5 years. So its not impossible to see the same art after 5 years, but that would require a renewed contract with the artist. Hope this helps.

DOes the gameplay same like MTG, Pokemon, Yugioh or other ?
@ValariaxSwordАй бұрын
No, it’s pretty different. You play on a grid and move your pieces around the squares like a boardgame. The card collecting and deck construction is similar to MTG but it plays differently.

@@ValariaxSword Can you rank which one has fun time to play ?
@ValariaxSwordАй бұрын
Hard to say. It’s depends on what you like. My favorite game to play is Flesh and Blood but I also like MTG and Pokémon. If you like playing 1v1 competitive games then Flesh in Blood is the best IMO. If you want to play casually with a friend where it’s more about hanging out then Sorcery would be pretty good.
@ValariaxSwordАй бұрын
Be careful with these smaller games because it’s hard to find a play group and Sorcery would be hard to play over webcam. I would find other players before you start buying stuff.

Standard 52 Playing Cards. These cards packaged in a tuck box are the most widely sold card game worldwide. All the TCGs being produced for the past 30 years violate what made it successful. The collectible card market was modeled after sport cards, which were produced to never be touched with human hands. Also, the card stock and quality pales in comparison to many Standard 52 Playing Card decks. That is a problem of customers willing to overpay for a substandard product.
@RegisJimАй бұрын
It's unsolvable issue. Even if you'd use laminated cardboard, all the shuffling, touching and moving would damage the cards over time with wear and skin oil. You can't NOT use sleeves, unless it's a fun 10-bucks deck that you intentionally play in the old school sleeveless way.
