Burnout 2 Point of Freecam

By the layout of some of the roads I think they were trying to link the entire map together and almost succeeded but were cut short by deadlines. This game was never going to be mainly open world but it's clear the devs would have liked to have implemented a free-roam concept and dynamic weather. Had things gone right I-88 would've connected with the Airport and Sunrise Valley. Perhaps the coolest potential feature they may have thought of (although this is a stretch) would've been custom races that could be drawn anywhere on the map with the race checkpoints system. Alas none of this was to be and a more limited yet still fantastic sequel released. This game would lay the ground work for EA buying Criterion and leading to the later hit success Burnout 3 which had a lot of Burnout 2's DNA.

I wish we could get a remaster of Burnout 2. Furthermore, I'd love a remaster that allows us to freely roam the entire map without barriers or time limits. So in short, I just want a new Burnout game.

given how burnout 1, 2 ,3, 4 and 5 all seem to have same issues in terms of track Varity its shocking that incomplete road situation was really never sort out until paradise came out

If only the Takedown free camera could be moved around this quickly. I find it interesting how the game is self-aware in a sense, but it's promoted as a movie 🤔 The texture for the Airport Terminal trains was definitely recycled for Golden City, not without going a huge face-lift, of course. What was the name of that MS Paint cowboy? :o The fact the skybox wraps the entire level and stays put already is a big improvement from the first game.

It was nicknamed "Hawyee" back at Ori's server but for an official name, beats me. Dolphin's free cam can change speeds but I tried to keep at a steady speed so I can look around without zigzagging back n forth so fast.
