2007 had Halo 3 and CoD 4, Bioshock, TES4 Oblivion, Orange Box, Mass Effect, Crysis, WoW Burning Crusade expansion, Burnout Dominator, Test Drive Unlimited, Skate, Project Gotham Racing 4, The Witcher, ect. One could argue that 2007 was the best year for gaming ever, with 2004 being a close second.

Personally I think 2013 was the peak of gaming. It was RIGHT before the 8th generation came out and was riddled with microtransactions and DLC's, and RIGHT at the edge of classic things like couch co-op, Xbox Live shit-talking, and feature-complete games upon release.

@konohamaru77 - Hi... I'm the guy who made that intro. You're correct in thinking that this special ultra widescreen version we made for E3 did indeed have a louder sound effects track for the cars and crashing action. It was decided that the area in the booth was so noisy with all the games competing against each other, that they wanted to make sure that the audio really stood out and grabbed people's attention. I was never flown to E3 so I never got to see it myself in the booth. I remember the producer phoning me at work though so I could hear it in the background and to let me know people were really digging it.

Hi @vtr_monsterextremo5145 - It was only made for E3. Back then there wasn't any easy way to view it properly at that aspect ratio. Fun fact: Those ultra wide shots nearly broke me.
