@micahmoore1511 Also, asuming they fit on the GT model, the first thing I'd do is get a set of the OEM or maybe after-market 16-inch wheels. Taller sidewall is likely a better ride and much cheaper tires than the 19 inches on the GT.

GT1 package offers vented seats along with a bevy of other features like memory seats and surround view monitor etc

You have to get the "upgraded" wheels though, and I don't care for them at all. At least from the pictures I've seen.

As an owner of a 23, love this car. Not the Stinger that I wanted but not bad of a car. Don’t like the new backside of the 25, too square of angles and wished they kept the individual quad tips instead. Don’t like the lime green stitching or brake calipers. Performance aspect is quite great for the bang for the bucks. Car keeps up with anything or surpasses. Kept up with a Tesla no problem . Hit 143 no problem yet to make the 155 limiter. Lacks LSD which would have helped on take offs. Brakes are really really good. Other then the crappy chrome strip issues, great car

fyi you can change the color of the cluster in the settings, its not just the yellow!

I am torn between k4 and k5! K4 - the steeling wheel and the passenger latch handle K5 - sunroof I just wish all this features in one car unfortunately not

At the end of my stinger lease. Good luck finding a K5 GT. There are only a hand full in my area. I drove an hour to a specific dealer to drive one they had listed on the lot. When I got there they pulled up a GT line and tried to tell me it was the same thing and drove the same. I said different transmission and engine and his answer was “well are we running numbers today.” At that point, I was turned off. Kia still needs to work on their dealership experience. On top of it the 3 they had all said “not for sale on them.” He asked me before I left again and I said well those say “not for sale.” And he was like well they are. I don’t understand what the issue is and why they are acting weird with this car.

There was four GT in my area, sandiego. I went to another dealer that I don't work at and was trying to get a gray one but it wasn't the GT1 package and they wanted to mark it up plus all these add-ons I got the GT1 package but in white from my work for under MSRP out the door.

@jd3980 San Diego I work at a dealer $39,425 was msrp...38,708 with taxes and everything.. walked into one of the sales managers give him the stock number I was interested in told him what's my price out the door that is what he came back with

If you want the total package, absolutely. All of them where I'm at become 40 grand with that package, so it's really what you want or need

I think the Sonata N line is much more attractive on the outside, but this K5 gets equipment you can’t get in the sonata. Tough choice

Promise you my mom owns a 24 sonata n line. I just test drove a gt and there no where close. The sonata is a super sleeper lol

@@stealthy_2.0 You sure it's the GT? sounds like you drove a GT Line, there is a difference between the two trims, the K5 GT looks better, quicker and has much more features and tech than the Sonata.

@stealthy_2.0 sounds like you're exaggerating a bit. The GT is just .2 seconds slower than sonata n line 0-60. Same exact engine and transmission. The only difference is the Sonata has optional summer tires and k5 all season. And even if the Sonata had all seasons... then they are the same exact car. Something is not right with your comparison

Good depth in the trunk but the lid is too short. So even though things Could technically fit in your trunk you can't maneuver it in

The 2024 is much better looking, hate the new exhaust tips, remind me of the "pig snout" tips that the old 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix used to have....but at $35k the K5 is still a really cool car for the money

I have a 24 GT and I love it. Glad i didn't wait for the 25. i don't mind the lime green but the wheels and exhaust are much better on the 24 as well as the front and rear end.

There's a guy I watch ocassionally who focus' mostly on the exterior designs of new vehicles (has a slight Sweedish accent), and about 6 months ago he featured the older K-5 to the 2025 model & said that the older one looked better. After he showed why he felt like that, I quickly agreed. He remarked that the older K-5 looked more like it had been designed by a real human-being as contrasted with the 2025 model which looked like it was designed by AI.

GT line turbo is the k4, don’t believe it’s AWD tho and they don’t have the GT line turbo trim yet

His car does not have the gt1 pkg so its in the $34, 000 range. Gt1 pkg adds $4400.

One reason that I won't have any Kia Hyundai or Genesis product is that they look very bad as paint and the plastic. After 3or 4 years. And that they seem to make changes to their bodies every year or 2. 😮😢😮😢

Another channel called Automotive Press goes into detail of paint quality and panel gaps, and Kia/Hyundai/Genesis of the last few years have-based on his testing-very good quality. So the shiny paint job may look plasticy (I too am not a fan of it), it is reassuring to know that the quality is good.
