Ohh wow I remember my dad took me here to the cottage when I was 11 , I’m now 66 so this was very emotional for me as I never saw him again a few months after that . He always made sure I new all about Scotland and its stories and legends so thanks for sharing this ❤

Should have visited Dumfries House Estate when you were in Ayrshire. It’s only 15 miles up the road from Ayr. Fabulous place to visit & great walks for the dog. 10 min walk from my house & im in the heart of the Estate.
