In my honest opinion, using this kind of fabric for a full-on suit should be extremely well pondered on. Pleated fabric is quite volumizing, and so you need to think about where and how you use it, as it makes the covered area appear larger than it already is (and that is not always what you want). It's best used for detailing on the sleeves, or the bodice of a dress, or a frock, or a skirt, or some detailing on a shirt itself. If you want to make trousers with this kind of fabric it is ideal only if they have a very wide leg because it is best suited to flowing and airy pieces of clothing. To the careful eye, this look seems unbalanced (bottom-heavy) and frumpy (cheap) and the colour doesn't seem to work so well on the wearer either. Had the colour been one of those deeper and brighter purples, pinks, blues, reds, and greens, it could have suited better. Note that obviously you can dress and have your clothes stitched the way you want, but it is imperative to consider the fabric, its properties and applications, its possible look on the wearer when used properly and improperly, the cuts and last but not least, the colour.
