Loni Anderson and Burt Reynolds had one of the nastiest splits in Hollywood history, and now they're both selling off some very personal items. Loni told ET why she's auctioning off all the stuff Burt gave her.

Why would anyone want pictures of them together knowing how she robbed him blind, took his only child away from him (and forced him to be a weekend only dad) and made him so unhappy?! Still taking him to court in 2015 to get more money from him...(because she didn't get enough?) knowing full well she had more money in the bank than he did! No. Burt gave Loni a Platinum American Express card at breakfast,then took Quinton out for the day. Around noon,they stopped to get the kid a fishing pole and the card was declined. Burt called American Express and told them that the Platinum card wasn't enough for Loni,he was going to need a Black Belt card.

He wanted to object to it before they were married, but the adoption was already in the works. He wanted that child so badly, he said he thought if there was any kind of trouble, they wouldn't give them the baby. So he went ahead with it. She then cheats on him w/one of his former students, robs him blind and takes the kid. The woman had no shame.

I've known lots of guys at firmly believe that they have to spend that kind of money on their girlfriends and wives because they honestly feel that's what they want. There are women out there who just want their husbands or boyfriends to spend time with them and they don't want all that extra stuff. I wouldn't say that it's an even split but I believe there are women want their boyfriends or husbands to actually spend time with them as there are women who don't care if their boyfriends or husbands spend any time with them as long as they keep buying them stuff. A former colleague once told me if he had $30,000 he would spend every bit of it on his fiance's engagement ring. I met his fiance at a gathering and she confided in me that she really wasn't interested in the big rock. She would rather have a smaller rock and a fiance that's doesn't spend spend every waking hour at work. Burt never should have married since he has so many women throwing themselves at him. And with his ego he's never going to turn them down. In retrospect I'm sure he wished he settled down with Sally Fields and been done with all those women. He had the money and the looks to do whatever he wanted and at the end of the day he ended up alone.

Lonnie Anderson has a clip on this site that they have had to disable the comments on. A few years ago Lonnie divorced Burt Reynolds. And then to promote a new series, she went around the talk shows saying she had divorced him because he is impotent. Reaction from the public was so negative that the network was obliged to cancel her new series after about three episodes. This behavior, while low class, is something you only see women engage in. Women often want to destroy men when they are done with them. Like Black Widow spiders.

It was actually Burt who asked for the divorce, not Loni. He caught her cheating with one of his former students (who he hired to be her assistant, no less). Instead of parting with some class, she couldn't handle that her connections & money train would come to an end & took him to the cleaners. Clearly Burt had a terrible lawyer & pre-nup. He was not perfect, but he did NOT deserve such a horrible person. She ruined his life.

Very disappointed & surprised to read what Sally said about Burt. They were together during a very different time in their lives. Burt admitted he was very wrapped up in his career, that he hurt her & lost t/ best woman in Sally. But she too was wrapped up in her career. She also brought baggage to their relationship he was not aware of that most likely caused problems. He has only spoken of Sally in t/highest regard. I feel she must have regretted her harshness after he passed. The statement she made about him & their time together reads of nothing but an endearing love & respect.
