Many You Tube watchers need an elementary instruction. I personally don't but I still watch the videos and sometimes do get a good tip.

Unnecessarily rude Tack and presumptuous to speak for other KZbin watchers. I'm a fairly accomplished hobby machinist and find Marc's videos both entertaining and informative. For example, we can all learn something about good manners from Marc's reply to you.

Haha! Lets subscribe to HUSTLEBUSTLECNCTIMELAPSE! I guess machining just is agonizingly slow, sad fact? ... more than a year, V-block not even started ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/foKtiHyveairaqc Justin Bieber vs. Selena Gomez and Cats vs Dinosaur are to advanced for my little brain, so I have to stick with basic elementary level.

It did something like that for my dad but a rotary disk with for drill guides made from harden bolts with different size holes. He designed it and I just made it as he asked. Thanks for sharing!

Sir, I'm so glad you're continuing to publish machining/fabrication videos. You do such a great job of explaining various concepts (that are often daunting to grasp). There is always something new to learn when watching your videos. Thank you for continuing to share your extensive knowledge and experience!

On the lathe, couldn’t you drill the small hole all the way through the part then drill the large hole from the same end. Then when you turn the part around you can face it off without having to have it perfectly centered?

Some explanations are required to answer properly so I will produce a short video on the subject, hopefully today or tomorrow. Thanks for a great question, thanks for watching and be safe. Marc

Hey Marc, good to hear from you!! Good stuff in your video, always. What do you think about this sequence, if using the lathe: 1. Hold in the 4 jaw 2. roughly center by eye 3. face 4. remove the part, and hold it in the 4 jaw with the other end protruding 5. center the part properly 6. center drill 7. drill with the larger drill to depth 8. drill with the smaller drill all the way through 9. deburr everything Take care dear Marc, and please find some more time in the shop, and keep the camera recording... :)
