I've read that because of it's construction it's not very durable hitting a branch sticking up in the water. Have you had any experience with this?

That sounds like a bit of exaggeration but having said that these kayaks do seem to scratch easy. I haven't experienced anything like structural damage from normal launching from pebbly beach and your average cement boat launch.

Nice video. What kayak do you think is more stable to fishing standing up? hobie passport 12 or hobie lynx? Thanks

Thanks, I think Passport 12 has a slight edge over Lynx. Having said that, they are both stable enough for casting standing up.

Just curious, did you figure out how to get the rudder up and down?

Yes, we knew going in that we pull the cable but I think there is a method to it like maybe snapping it a bit.
