I rode the 56 for 10 days last season, east coast. Love it !!! It will be daily driver for w24/25. I did set the front binding up a notch from reference. Size 9 boots.

Great review! I ordered a size 160, but I am wondering if it is too narrow for my boot (us 12). Burton advised me to order 160. My specs are 100kg, 184 cm, boot us 12. Do you think 156w would be a better choice for me? Thanks!

Thanks! They don't make a good size for your specs with the Alekesam. Your weight is fine for the 160 but your boot size is bigger than I'd feel comfortable recommending. If they are, Burton 12s, they are better because they are pretty reduced in footprint, but I still would prefer you to be size 11, Burton. If you don't carve hard or ride steep terrain maybe the 160 could work. No on the 156w. You weight too much for it. Thanks. This rides more on the tail and doesn't feel as centered. This feels more like a surboard where the Gril Master has less of a surfy feel and rides more centered. I prefer the Gril Master on groomers more and the Alekesam more in pow.
