I’ve been thinking about the step on for this season. One reason I was looking into step on were cause of the straps had a tendency of digging into the top of my foot. I actually lost some sensation in my foot for a few months. It seems like the photons have that strap-like binding to mimic the strap feeling. Do you think this may cause a similar issue? For that reason itself I was looking into the ruler, but it only comes with one boa.

I had the photons last year and experienced this issue. I switched to DC control and all good.

Powder performance is something to beware. Had to try like 5 times for the heel to click

I have heard they make a clicking noise when riding, is this affecting your concentration or is annoying?

Hey Melchior, they do click (and I show the noise in my other video). If I pay attention to it, I’ll notice it, but if I’m focused on riding, I don’t notice the noise.

Also I hear that applying finishing wax to the toe cleats and clips makes the clicking go away. I hadn’t done it yet because it’s not noticeable enough to affect my riding or concentration.

Hey Master Yoda, the Step On bindings work with any board. I’m using them on my Salomon board in the video
