That guy Pluto just gave Burundians a billion-dollar advice. Up to them if they want to listen and implement those ideas. I will no longer visit Burundi if they will take 50% of my US dollar in exchange fees.

Black market in foreign exchanges is not only in Burundi, I saw it in former Soviet Union and in Tanzania. And in any country a foreigner/tourist has to know how to go about it (otherwise he/she can be arrested!!!, scammed, robbed) . When I was a student in Moscow, Soviet Union 1971-1977), the official exchange rate of the US dollar was 0,9 rouble (=Russian currency), but on the black market it was 1 dollar for 3,5 or 4 roubles.

A country is considered rich or poor because of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and things like natural resources like minerals,that can be monetized.
@Designeroption
@Designeroption 6 ай бұрын
I find it unrealistic bcoz in these countries which have fertile soils have a big population depending on their crops from gardens and free houses built on their land,they can survive without a single dollar, therefore their wealth is not monetarised and therefore doesnt appear in the GDP, thus their GDP is small, whereas there also those countries whose citizens cannot survive without money in their pockets, they sleep in rented or morgatged houses, they buy food from markets, and without a job life is impossible, therefore such countries depends on monetarised economy and that's why their GDP is high
@stansiyomana1239
@stansiyomana1239 6 ай бұрын
@@Designeroption But the GDP is about the goods and services that a country or a citizen have produced IN A GIVEN YEAR. For example if the house was built last year, it doesn't count in this year's statistics.

Great video and kudos to you, Kenneth! But your new rich friend Pluto seems to behave ignorantly on purpose for some reasons only himself knows. He does not even know that different part of the world have different electrical wall socket plugs! It must be hard to be a new rich! Looking forward from his future contents when the shock of being a new rich is over.
