I get why the Trackside is not in the GBG..its lost its character after the refurb. Art Picture house one of spoons better pubs to be fair. White Lion would have been worth a visit. Good tootle round the pubs James👍🍺

If it wasn't for the charm of sitting out on the platform I wouldn't bother. Made to feel about as welcome as a fart in a space suit on the last three visits. Anyone can be having a bad day, but after that trip it left me feeling 'why bother?' especially now that I've found the Broad Street Social. I'll search out the White Lion next time I'm there for an ELR event.

@wandojames it was such a cosy warm welcoming pub was the Trackside, Beer mats on the ceiling, traditional seating...they moved the bar, smartened it up and ruined it. Rose n Crown has just reopened..might be worth a go, cheers Slurpy Dave👍🍺
