Why Burzum songs are always slightly higher in tuning. Don't you think it is not intentional and Varg just doesn't quite tune it perfectly?

Many bands have tuned their instruments differently. For instance, one guy had "good ear", had no tuner, and he tuned his instrument the way he wanted, and all the rest was tuning up to his tuning.

Play in E standard along to the record. They won't sound in sync because THE ALBUMS ARE TUNED HIGHER THAN E STANDARD. No matter how many times you repeat it, doesn't make it accurate.

@@Sykdom When Varg had a channel on youtube I asked him directly what tuning did you have on pre prison albums. He said it was E-standart. However, after the recording it might have been tuned to the higher pitch in order to sound unique.
