What type of wood stove are you looking at?
@LastFrontierAdventureClub10 жыл бұрын
Rustic By Nature something pretty small. I think we had looked at the smallest model of Jotul, but we're still trying to make up our minds.

Last Frontier Adventure Club Have you looked at the Kimberly? It is kind of pricey but it looks great and seems to be highly efficient. There is a guy in Anchorage that is a dealer for the stove, he is a fulltimer.

Rustic By Nature We did look into that stove. It is a remarkable product, but it's a little out of our range.

I get excited watching the development of this bus conversion. It's a real labour of love. Are side ways facing seat belts safe in the event of a collision?

Abu Hamza Mohammed After looking around on the internet for a while (after I already built the seats) I can't really find any good info on the safety of sideways facing seats. What I do know is that this is a common arrangement in RVs, the back seats of extended cab pickups, military transport and even city buses, so it can't be illegal.If the seatbelts are properly tightened, they should hold passengers in place just fine, but obviously a forward facing seat with a lap and shoulder belt is always the best (I would assume.)
