This is my van (BORIS). The swap was perfect, I have put now about 10,000 miles with not one engine problem. I'm very happy with the work done by Mick, he ROCKS!!!!

Hey! Really cool! I’m on the fence between using an STI turbo engine or this atmo one. We have a lot of steep hills back home and sometimes I’d pull a trailer loaded of logs for the fireplace home. What do you think? I don’t race just wanna have a strong and effective car. Thank you!

Just did this yesterday. Make sure you have the clutch alignment tool handy...use the vanagon one and it worked, meaning the engine would not go in until I found it (not beetle) and it went easy like Busaru shows us how.

This is nicely shot; very clear. I think I am going to try this. I have metal fab skills and equipment. So I will be able to fabricate the hanger myself. I am going to install an H6. I may end up cutting away the rear portion of the body so that the engine can be rolled straight in. Making a structural piece which bolts in will not be too difficult. I'm thinking that additional space can be created and integrate a custom bumper tabs. Being able to remove that rear portion of the body will make work go a lot faster.

Does anyone know if i can use an Automatic Transmission from 1980- 1990 VW Vanagon into a VW Bus t2 Engine? or i should use only with the original 2.1 engine and adapt it into a T2 Bus?...sorry if it's a dumm question. Also i will adapt a Jetta 2.0 Engine, but the main topic its the Transmission i want an automatic

+Busaru Question for you. When you ordered the kit from kep did they give you the hardware to mount the engine cradle. The reason I ask is I just went to mount mine and cant seem to find any bolts for that specific

+Broken Compass you reuse your existing crossmember bolts and buy a few new ones that match.

+Tin Cup Outdoors I generally go with KEP - Kennedy Engineered Products. They created the original adapter plate setup. I don't have the link, just google it.
