fond memories of the days I spent on my tractor, making trails through the woods and clearing brush.😊

we poured two slabs ( small cabin's ) today next to our 15 acre field I've yet to mow this year. looking out thinking that going to be a mess to mow. so far 8 yellow jacket nests this year and I'm thinking probably more out there. I'm so over it. lol
@kapperoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yep, on my first open station tractor I hit a ground nest!! That helped me decide to upgrade to a cab tractor!! Best of luck.

I have aerial pictures of the family farm from 1970. You ought to see what over 50 years of regen looks like!

Man I believe it! Kind of like that 8 acre pickers property we did with them old aerials.. I bet it's neat to see..

I was wondering if you still had the batwing mower also.

Does anyone know of a video showing how to load a batwing onto a trailer? The idea of loading a 15' and tractor is a bit daunting. Kapper, it would be a one of a kind video if you care to make one. Cheers.
@kapperoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Well the reason you can't find one is because you'd need nearly a semi trailer to load a tractor & batwing together. As far as loading a batwing alone.. Well, I have never done that one! LOL, but best of luck! Thanks.
@OtterCreekFarm2 жыл бұрын
@@kapperoutdoors There must be a way to get a tractor and batwing to a customer in one trip. I have a 35+5 which must be close. I've seen them together on the highway, maybe not a 15'. Someone will come up with a video.

Just something not right about changing gears with that little turn signal switch....looks like the ole days of using a clutch and shifting gears is gone??? Hopefully those mowed spots will soon be turned into productive Fall Food Plots. Get going!!
@kapperoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
It is much better than the ol' clutch setup! You can still clutch if you like, kind of like what you did when you came up and used the Branson a few years back! But it is much easier not to, and the machine actually shifts better than I could anyway!

Hey Kapper do you still cut with the batwing style cutter? Or did that one get sold?

Joe, what effect does this overgrowth do to the deer management?
@kapperoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
The overgrowth is about the best deer habitat you could ask for. Lots of cover, lots of natural browse. It will improve any property for deer habitat.
