Just a suggestion. Let it stop boiling first. Mix the coffee in there let sit a few minutes. Then add some cold water after a few minutes to keep the grounds at bottom. Cute pup! Great vid.

I know cause I have 2 old timers 15-16 still doing well. 1 shepherd 16 and my golden at 15. Love and good home made food keep them around along time. And they can’t even make me mad. I just sold a Royalex canoe to help pay for my new Hemlock Kestral Canoe, so I feel your pain and the excitement. Going lighter, and a canoe I can handle by myself but is not too small is a very nice thing. I have never cooked eggs this way, I will try it.

Congratulations. Grizz looks to be an amazing companion. Your kevlar/graphite canoe should service you well being light weight and quick. I recently extensively researched similar canoes. The modern made boats require extra care in use. Wet entry and exit, avoidance of rocks and no running beaver dams or logs. This will greatly help to avoid spiderwebbing, fracturing and cracking of the material. I was fortunate to find a new 2014 Solo Old Town Pack boat made of the 7 layer original kevlar. Just 33 pounds, like you I seek to expand my exploration via waterways.

Never seen eggs cooked that way, thankya for showing that. you got cowboy coffee is the best...a tip? drizzle a lil' bit of cold water in it and the grounds will settle to the bottom. great video, and the pup as a pup was cute as hell, fisty too LOL!

Hes handsome 👌 reminds me of my Darby at that age 😊 and I've yet to see him look "cold", even on winter summits. Generally speaking, eggs are tricky without a pan or pot but props for your innovative technique!

puppy cuteness overload on this one. the sleepy eyes at the end were adorable. great egg cooking method! i've heard of baking them in a kitchen oven so I guess this is similar. Instead of peeling you could grab a piece of wood for a cutting board and just cut them right in half. then use a spoon to scoop it out. that's how my mom does them a lot to avoid the shell pulling off so much of the egg part.

Another way to cook eggs without a pan on the fire is to put the eggs in their shells in your cowboy coffee to cook, it also helps to settle the grounds, , 3-5 min. And scoop them out and chow.
