Maxpedition Gear is robust and durable. The stitching is over the top. I have some Maxpedition bags over ten years old and still have no wear and tear. It was good to see Dax again. I wish I knew what he was digging in the ground for. I know it can never happen. But, it would be interesting to see what would happen if Dax and Marshall, from Canadian Prepper, would get together for some adventures in the forest. Add Baxter and it would be too funny.

Hi Lilly, danke für das Video - es inspiriert mal vom normalen Erdsitz abzulassen. Solltest du mal das Problem haben den Ansitz wiederzufinden, einfach den Wald kehren und einen Pfad anlegen. Vorteil: Macht beim Angehen auch weniger lärm. Ist dir das zu aufwendig, ein wenig Neonband an ein paar Bäume und der Weg ist "erleuchtet". LG Jörg

Maxpedition gear is tough and lasts a very long time in my experience. All of the other bags I have tried end up ripping out the seams, zippers fail, and holes wear in them. I've been carrying the same maxpedition for a year or now with NO issues, in fact its just getting broke in. What kind of gloves/mittens where those? I love the design.

I'm happy you're using Ballistol, my favorite gun oil. I thin you'd better to clean the blade of the saw before applying oil, just to be you sure you coat the whole surface of the metal.

I can't believe you loosened the nut/bolt in your Bacco saw. I did the same and this weekend I lost both. I used a twig to hold the handle and blade together while I sawed, but now I need to replace the hardware. I'll use a "nylon lock nut" so it will not come apart in the future.

Yeah, I think that Bahco knife is really made by Mora and relabelled. Good inexpensive knife. I have 6 :P

your sleeping bag looked like an army medium mummy bag like the ones i use in the 70s very good in many temps only have to make sure to keep dry .the spray you used on your saw seemed like wd-40 in america

+dale carpenter WD-40 evaporates fairly quickly so it does not last very long. Ballistol seems to be a much better product for protecting over longer periods. I've used both, even though I had to order the Ballistol off Amazon because it can be hard to find in parts of the U.S. Ballistol costs more, but to me it's worth it.

out of all the bush crafters...on youtube...you are the only one that mentions salt. people do not seem to understand how important salt is to survive . without it you can not have cell reproduction to heal the body, you can not stay hydrated no matter how much water you drink, you need it to dry out or preserve food, clean cuts, ect
