In this video I take you with me as I go out and stay in my Primitive shelter overnight, I cook up some rainbow trout and bannock over the fire

great video mate.. couple of questions dude. 1 - what would be your bedding in winter and 2 - what clothing would you wear in winter. im really interested in learning and camping more primitive but scared of getting awful sleep and not enjoying it because im freezing cold all night lol. do you ever use long fires ect
@paulsmithprimitivebushcraft3 жыл бұрын
Ah thanks my man, my sleep system never changes I use my great kilt which is essentially a big wool blanket all year round clothes I wear my shorts and a merino wool top most of the year too, if not that then I have more substantial layers like a Woolrich jumper which is really good and fallraven trousers. Fires and the correct mindset are the key to being cold when it comes to going primitve often times I'll sleep curled up right next to the fire on a reindeer skin and that's usually good enough for what Scotland can throw at you 🙂 I've done a video on what to wear a while back it might be of some interest, if there's anything else you want to know just let me know 😁🤜🏻 And thanks for taking the time to watch my man I appreciate it!
