Excellent tip brother! Brilliant, not only saves you money from buying the tensioner, but it absolutely works as good if not better, and you get beer!

I tied one just like yours but it slips. So, I tried turning the tab over and it STILL slipped. I put 2 tabs together (smooth sides facing one another) and worked much better. Don't know if it's Walmarts cheap Paracord or what but it does the trick👍🏻 I wonder how it holds up in windy conditions 🤔

Hey Matt,, I was just thinking I haven't seen a video from you recently, but I know it has gotten too warm to overnight down in Fla .. I'm headed to pine mnt Georgia for a weekend ,, still having painful issues with my leg so ill be cheating and staying in a state park campground. ,, at least I'll be camping out ,, figuring this is nearing the last weekend of 50/60 degree nights and I don't want to miss out on some cool fresh air sleep.

And to think that I wasted my money 💰buying these things that are just about the same thing from REI!😀 Just wondering, since they are aluminum, how does this hold up and does the cutout in the pop top tear apart the Paracord sheathing? Thank You Matt
@FloridaBoyBushcraftSurvival5 жыл бұрын
Lol...they hold up well without bending. So far no issues with cutting the paracord
