Bushcraft Solo: Old Style Sleeping Bag, Potato & "Bacon" Leek Soup, Cornmeal Porridge, Pot Rig

Part of a two-night trip into my temporary bushcraft camp.

I made an 18th century style envelope sleeping bag, which worked out perfectly.
For breakfast I had a creamy cornmeal porridge with 18th century sugarcane cone shavings atop.
Lunch and dinner was Potato and "bacon" leek soup, which was spot on. It was the best soup I've ever made in my life "shockingly good!"

Yes indeed David, beautiful land! I'm at 365 + metres/12 to 1400 FT in elevation. I would love to go higher but that would require me going to Canada. These particular Woods are not far from my home base, so they are very convenient.
