Gonna urethane everything, add a tent wood stove and power it with an extension cord. I don't have land so the plan is to put it in the back yard in the woods. This as good as it gets for me but happy to have what I have.

We are finishing up on our cabin, a weekend play cabin in the woods in the mountains. Built on a steep hillside for the views and powered by solar & LiFePo4 batteries. Wood stove and a diesel heater for winter. It's a 2 story with a main floor deck about 8 feet up. We have a well on the property about 400' away, so that's the next project, get water to the cabin so we don't have to keep bringing it with us. I've built a lot of things, but I don't do it for a living, just sketched up a plan on a notepad, got the wife's buy off on layout, and we started building it. Tons of fun. We are in our 50s with older kids, anyone can do it if this is what they want, and built by just you and your spouse on the weekends.
