Buddy of mine got me watching these videos. We’d spend hours watching them and dream of building something. He died from cancer last week. We’re having his service tomorrow November 18th. I’m sitting here at his house with his wife and family waiting for tomorrow and decided to watch another video and found a little peace and a little sadness. Thanks for the videos and someday I’ll get me a cabin I can disappear to for an escape. God bless and take care.

I found your videos and Brooke’s while looking for ideas and tips on how to restore a 70-year-old cabin I am working on here in Nagano, Japan. The first video I watched was the build of your small black cabin with red trim and that big window made from a piece of glass you had stored in a chicken coop for a long time. That and so many of yours and Brooke’s videos have provided so much insight and inspiration to keep my own project going. Thank you!!!

Thanks. That brings back memories of my dad when I was growing up. He was a woodworker by trade. He made a table saw out of parts he fabricated. I still remember the singing noise that the saw blade made. He mounted two lawnmower wheels on one end to move it around the shop plus it was a pretty light setup. It had a belt drive that the tension could be set. Homemade fence.
