@@michaelblakemore3712 For now my interests for transcriptions/arrangements involve fanmade works, songs that get little recognition in the music arrangement corners of the Touhou fanbase. While I may tackle older Touhou themes one day, I want to appreciate some fanmade soundtracks that don't get enough praise through arrangements. (And I'm pretty busy with college at the moment, so my current backlog of transcriptions will have to wait before they see the light again...)

I found this song 2 years ago and still believe that this arrangement is the most beautiful song I have heard on piano. Credit to the one guy who wrote it and to you for pretty much perfecting it.

I think maybe the advanced players here could play a minute of this at a time. But rather than the speed, I think the stamina is pretty hard to sustain. To keep jamming on like that, you need a lot of stamina. That's important.

I think with enough practice yeah the piece isn't impossible at all, but dunno how someone will keep their stamina up to play that fast for that many minutes like you said.

@@Freakattaker a lot of the fast sections of this song is played with rolling your wrist rather than individual finger movement, so if you use good technique it doesnt take as much stamina as youd think just looking at it.

I don't know about stamina, I've been playing piano for a considerable amount of time and "Stamina" has never been an issue. I think remembering the notes to play is ungodly though, and I'm not sure so many notes can fit on a single music sheet.

Tbh I think I could play this with 20 years of practice and just 2 hands. And I only started playing piano again this year after not having touched for about 13 years. It doesn't look that absurd to me if you practice enough.

Yeah I’d say so, I can’t see any sections that require 3 hands. It’s possible but definitely hard you’ll need quick fingers for this one, also those right hand passages have patterns and are repeated so once you got the muscle memory you can apply it later in the song.
