Hi Vadim, Thanks for your question.😀 With many clients who rely on our services for Business and Investor visas, we do all we can to stay up to date with the many changes. The announcement was made, as positive reforms to the BIIP Program, but for many potential applicants, the changes will be negative. We have been going ahead with 132 Nominations for clients that are eligible as fast as possible to meet the deadline. Please spread the word if you know people who want to go ahead, but might miss the 132 closure deadline. The changes can actually be seen in the following sentence in the press release from MP Alan Tudge: "The Premium Investor, Significant Business History and Venture Capital Entrepreneur visas will be closed to new applications from 1 July 2021. Applications already lodged for these visas will still be processed." Do you have rights-to-work on a 188B Investor visa?

Hi Jonas, Yes you have work rights on the 188B. It is a provisional four year and three month visa with a pathway to PR through making the required investment for four years then applying for the 888 visa. A key requirement is having a successful business management (as an owner) or successfully managed a qualifying investments of over 1.5 million prior to applying. Thanks for watching and for your question. The design of the new 188 Entrepreneur visa has been announced to include a requirement for State or Territory nomination. See this announcment from December: minister.homeaffairs.gov.au/alantudge/Pages/Getting-a-better-deal-for-Australia-from-business-and-investment-visas.aspx But the States and Territory bodies have not announced what the requriements will be to get state sponsored/nominated. Hopefully the requirements will be announced prior to the new requirements being implemented from 1 July 2021. What we do know is that the Federal Government dropped the requirement of $200,000 investment from a third party and changed it to State or Territory nomination, and that is a good thing.
