Hi, I have a question about employment history. I have 3 years of experience in my field outside of Australia, but assessor body only assessed 2 years of it as "skilled experience" . So, should I put only 2 years in the EOI, or the real time period, which is 3 years. Since it will change my points (from 65 to 70) I suppose it is highly important. Thank you.

Thanks for the video. I have a very important question on submitting EOI. I have worked in one company from May 2018 till July 2021. My ACS letter says that I can consider experience from May 2020 as 2 years they have considered for suitability. So how do I put that company experience in EOI application. Shall i make 2 entries for the same employer : one from May 2018 to May 2020 and select No(For the option : related to nominated ANZSCO code) : second entry for same employer from May 2020 to July 2021 and select yes. Or shall i make single entry from May 2018 til July 2021 and select Yes.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I am in the U.S. and trying to understand the overall process (the big picture, if you would) of a student who wants to work after completing a degree. It looks like a student must complete the degree first before launching an EOI which will stay in the queue for sometime before it is picked up and processed. So, is it fair if I say that ALL student visa holders will need a bridging visa to be in "good status" so that he or she can work while the application for work visa is pending ?

Hi Suman Maam, Thank you for the wonderful information. Keep up the great work 😊 I have Bachelors in IT, 3 Years Overseas Experience in IT, Masters in IT... However ACS has deducted 2 yrs but from the new info I think I can claim those as well 😅 These 5 points will make a huge difference to me. Do you recommend I should claim the deducted 2 years ? Also, I can't figure how to claim the 2 years in EOI. The EOI form asks for the "skills met date" and any experience before that is automatically deducted. I have a question Suman, hope I'll get a reply. While lodging EOI, it asks me years of work experience I have. Well, I have 20 h/w experience for 2 years before and while studying, and 1 year full time after studying. While filling EOI, they never ask how many hours of experience and if it is before qualification. If I put whole experience, I get extra 5 points but will they really count experience before qualification ? or should I fill experience gained only after qualification ? I'm a Chef

If you have been assessed for the cap of more than 8 years than you are good to mention real number of experience. Because maximum points can be scored with 8 years skill assessment. Hope it answers

I have positive skill assesment in aircraft maintenance engineer avionics 323111. My date of birth is 10/10/1981 Work experience 15 years 10 years in Emirates airline. I will be becoming 40 years in October 2021. At present if I clear my pte exam with 65 points my total points will become 70. Is there any possibility if the state nominations open and I apply of eoi, will I get the chance of invitation before I reach 40 years since I will lose 10 points and will be sitting on 60 points in October 2021.

Visitors visa conditions is no work rights conditions. Working holiday visa was scraped in Australia. Only skilled migration visa is allowed to work. Australian borders are aso closed till June 2022. So it will be pointless to start a application now

Once submitted, points are attributed to the EOI based on the information provided. Submitted EOIs are eligible for selection in an invitation round, or by a State and Territory government agency or Austrade, depending on the visa subclass(es) selected. Clients can continue to add/amend information to their EOI at this stage. EOIs in submitted status can remain in SkillSelect for up to 2 years. Lodged - a visa application has been lodged using an invitation to apply for a visa. The EOI will be in lodged status while the visa application is processed. Details of the EOI remain locked in this status
