Wow! What a great interview and tour! I've never met Mark or been to his studio, but I feel right at home. His Toft ATB console, gear selection philosophy, burgundy GIK acoustic panels, and multi-buss hybrid mixing are how we roll too... I smell what you're cooking! Thank you for the video gentlemen! -chaz

This is amazing Warren. I had a similiar start to my recording journey...starting with a Fostex 4-track tape recorder, then the Roland 8-tack then 16-track recorders to DAWs. I hope you make this a series and highlight more of "our people's" studios and their journeys. I like watching Produce Like A Pro tour the likes of Blackbird and FAME studios, but there is just something more comforting seeing homegrown studios like this. Great video.

Hello from Savin Rock Studios in West Haven. Great interview and very nice studio. I like that Demeter rack spring reverb! I still have my KRK V4’s. I agree with how your ears hear the V6’s. The video inspired me to turn back towards my outboard gear and put it to use for my vocals and drums.

Haha “nooo! what’s that they say? A man’s gotta know his limitations.” Really enjoyable interview and banter.

Did Buddy say the 160 was his first reverb? Then he says mc77 I like this better than the 76...lol it is a 1176...Now I'm thinking buddy stole all that ish 😂 jk good video though

They had just been talking about the reverb section for a while. He meant to say compressor. I mean it’s a 160… Earlier in the video they were talking about the gatekeeping they’d experienced not knowing “all the right words” - I hear that. These guys obviously know what they are talking about. I’d like to hear some of the things coming out of Buss studio
