Mike loves the nerdy scientific aspects of it, while Kerry absolutely adores the beautiful dishes and antiques in general. About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!

My sister and I are slowly cleaning out our parents house. They left a lot of the depression glass. I knew about the Fiestaware, but didn't know that the depression glass could also be radioactive. I'll have to look for a UV light. :-) BTW, I read that a number of workers painting those radium clock dials got cancer because they would lick the brush to get a good point.

Glass frogs are for floral arrangements. YOu put it in the bottom of a vase and the holes hold the stems in place.

Ok, now you are smelling the roses, but I'm equally grateful that mike has a job he really loves with people willing to work with his ideas. I remember how fantastic it was when I owned my business when I got a dedicated employee with brains, grit, and determination. Flower frogs can be uranium too. You can look up Weller pottery they made flower bowls with frogs.

It is a blacklight. A regular white light flashlight would not make Uranium or Radium show fluorescence.
