The Dale Mining District was one of the productive gold mining towns in California for many years. Today it is one of the most visited ghost towns in the state. There are 288 abandoned mining sites with 747 mine openings and in the 1870’s-1930s gold was the commodity of greatest interest. Join us as we travel the next 2 days in search of abandoned gold mines.
