I know right. I can’t even imagine picking up the phone to call the police if a Paramotor flew over. The officer said someone made a complaint that people were flying over at 4:30 in the morning, waking up their family and they couldn’t go back to sleep. 🤔 Riiiiiight

Good stuff. Yeah funny how people don't like noise they are not used to at times they are not used to. Being "not a morning person" I tend to fly around sunset so I don't think there are noise ordinances. The one time I had a police officer talk to me they just wanted to be sure I had a permit - I do, I'm in Canada eh? Funny enough I fly right over the local police station which is between the two parks I've flown out of. Someone did complain about my noise to Transport Canada but, joke on them, TC doesn't deal with that except for noise abatement procedures around airports.

I'm from Wisconsin and love Kwik Trip! Unfortunately I live only ten minutes from a major military base as well as an airport. So we have limited airspace and flying a paramotor would more than likely get me into some trouble. It'd be amazing to have one, though!

We don't have Kwik-Trip where I'm at but we do have Quik Trip (Or QT for short) that has a little bit of everything! I know it's not good for me but I love those gas station dinners!!

I've seen the QT stores before in other areas. Not the same company. Our Qwik-Trips are sweet little convenience stores with pretty good food, clean and always rockin good deals on the things you need. AKA beer, hot food and energy drinks.

Youre never required to answer any questions a lolice officer asks. Its in fact in your best interest to remail entirely silent. As anything you do or say will be used against you. An officers sole purpose is to effect an arrest. Period. If a paroled person has a fourth waiver. In some states. They no longer yave a 4th amendment right. They can be searched and property can be seized upon contact. In every state if youre driving a motor vehicle on the public roadway and an officer effects a traffic stop youre required to produce your drivers licence, insurance and regustration. But again. Youre under no obligation to answer any questions and you never should. Police are legally allowed to lie. They are trained in deception and to force you to incriminate yourself. Just because an officer is buddy buddy. Means nothing. They are attempting to drop your guard to casually incriminate yourself. Unlike citizens police are permitted to use ignorance of the law as a defence in court, they are under no obligation to protect the public at all. Their sole duty is to effect and arrest and or generate revenue for the state.

I would only add that they also try to intimidate both physically and verbally. simply put all that means is, say as little as possible. The goal should always be to extricate yourself from a blue line thugs presence ASAP.

So what are the federal aviation regulations on what your doing as far as the noise goes. It’s been ruled that local city and state governments can’t make rules or laws pertaining to aviation. You just have to follow the FAR’s. It could somehow be different for paramotors.

The problem is that the city can explicitly ban PPGs from public parks if they feel the noise is disturbing them. It's best not to test them and try to keep people happy.
