when you use speed breaker don't turn it off immidiatly keep going and when the car is pointing in the right direction use nos until the car stop drifting then deactivate Speed breaker that should make you faster in corners. trust me its useful

theo, do you know what you should have done? upgrade and tune the rx8 first and use the evo as a pursuit vehicle, and when you are in the tune shop do the performance upgrades first followed by the body upgrades and last are the visuals

At times rubberbanding is real but there are ways to counteract that. Keep an eye on your minimap, at times you'll notice the car that is closest to you will start rubberbanding, it's quite easy to tell because of how faster their arrow is moving on the minimap compared to yours even though you are driving without major mistakes. What I try to do is try to look behind me and see on which side they'll try to pass me and then trying to block them like in a drag race, it's quite effective and it'll break their rubberbanding because they'll be forced to break. Also taking the corners correctly is essential. There are races which don't allow you more than 1 corner taken wrongly, depending on how well the AI is able to keep up with you. The way I use speedbreaker is activate for a sec, turn left or right and then turn it off right after the car starts turning a bit, it'll make the car do a slight drift and won't lose that much speed. Lastly, in some races, especially vs blacklist members I use dirty tactics, try smashing into them from the side if they're about to pass me or if they taken me and are about to take a corner, I just go for the end of their car and try to spin and flip it(use speedbreaker). The AI fights dirty so you have to race dirty back. :) Hope this helps
