Jason, is it against the rules for having a dog in the national park? Did they fine you and if so how much? I see you were still able to proceed with the trip, so what was the problem?

@ yeah no dogs allowed in the National Park and the fine is 100,000 baht, I think because of Su being Thai they just warned her and escorted her back to the car and told her not to let her out of the car until we exit the park, so we entered on one side and exited on the other side near where we stayed, approximately 45 minutes drive

Great video:) The glamping(?) site was really relaxing looking. Lily obviously loved it! I think that is the first time I noticed Su calling her ‘monster’ lol. Lily is so adorable! I was so tired last night when I watched this, I was afraid I left some gibberish comment, but I must not have, lol. Have a great week!

I brought my schnauzer from the States with me. Not many options that are pet friendly and those that are tend to be more expensive. Still, I wouldn't trade him for the world ❤. Our adventures in Thailand!

How did you do that? I heard ypu need an FDA permit and the airlines will charge a few hundred.

​@@gwaringit's not easy. But not terrible either. You need to get an import permit from Thailand. An export permit from US Agriculture. Qatar airways pre booking. They charged $350 dog in crate. On landing pay 2,500 baht at the airport. Done. Doggie hotel in Bang Sare for 1 night, rented a house in Sattahip (dog friendly) the next day (12,000 baht month). Has a nice communal guard to run puppy and walks, afterwards I jump in the pool to cool down.

What a great getaway from busy Pattaya! It`s as peaceful as it looks, I know. I love it, I have family in Korat (Sung Noen). My heart skipped a beat when I saw the 100k fine for bringing a dog into Khao Yai though.. Oh my goodness. I hope they did let you leave without actual paying that. That equals a brand new Honda ADV 160.. Lilly is such an adorable little pup, I love seeing her happy! And you guys as well 😊😊

Thanks Sarlina, really loved Khao Yai and the drive, luckily we didn’t have to pay, possibly because Su is Thai but she was escorted to the car and told to leave the park which of course we did but that meant not much sightseeing in the park. Lily loved it and the freedom of running around the camp. Drove to Khon Kaen after for one night, that’s a big city and surprised 😬😬😬

well they are speaking a different language and they may not have all the prepositions and conjunctions and correct grammar so to a native speaker it can sound like a child talking. The same goes for foreigners when we speak Thai, if we don't get the correct tones it sounds horrible to them 😊
