​@@goblindiplomats7375in pioneer it's pretty straightforward to build a manabase that's strictly all UB lands. 4x shock lands, 4x surveil lands, 4x verge lands from dsk, 4x check lands, 4x cycle lands, 4x pathways gets you to 24, even though I'd look for some replacements for, say, the cycle lands and throw in a few basics to be safe. Mostly basic swamps, maybe a single basic island.

My thoughts exactly. First time where the bias seemed pretty obvious; you COULD in theory build this way but your manabbase has to be completely locked down for such events.

To be fair, it's *only* 6 mana on any given turn. As for lands, there's more than enough lands to build an entire mana base for the deck that taps for both U and B if you don't care about playing basics, and even then you can still get away with Islands and Urborg.
