What are your thoughts on Lance? It‘s by far a superior Romulus target because it‘s essentially an E-Teli that summons Phalanx, which enables not only Herald before Elpy but also a 100% free Halq which goes easier on the hand size while preserving the Rokket extenders more. Running Lance also enables you to play Vylon Cube alongside with Living Fossil and/or Smoke Grenade for decisive g2/3 wins while still being able to main the far superior Rose Dragon package. I‘ve also been experimenting with the Dai-Shrine engine a lot and it helps the deck immensely, but it‘s very heavy and adds unnecessary bricks to the deck, however, it allows you to play through even a negated Romi as Galaxy Serpent has the same specs as Phalanx and World Chalice Guardragon can be sent alongside Galaxy with Dragon Shrine, running this package gives the deck a lot of engine utility overlap but then again, it‘s super heavy and even in a 60 card list, space is tight. Being able to run Marcher also has the added benefit of keeping full combo if you had to use Rose Dragon preemptively for Romulus, as Marcher can just revive it instead of Phalanx which results in full combo if you run Rokket Synchron which is just a tuner dragon target for Halq and offers some neat follow-ups with Abs into Borrelsword

Truthfully I haven’t played it that much but it’s something I’m going to try out since I like the idea of ripping 2 cards from hand with negates on field as well as having additional extenders so after I post today’s combo vid at some point this week I’m gonna post one with the phalanx combo

Dragoon in Dragon Link is completely unnecessary. It‘s more likely you‘ll choke on the pieces than it being undoubtedly decisive 99% of the time. Your end board is already solid enough and extra deck space is tight, while it‘s great going 2nd, it‘s in no way necessary, the deck oozes big beatsticks left and right and closing up games against interruption is easy enough.

Federico Lazzarini no it isn‘t, it‘s unnecessary. I‘d rather have no bricks than bricks and an arguably worse end board lmao. Spheres is better than Dragoon in D-Link‘s case, it‘s an interruption and a follow-up that enables a sick grind game, Dragoon is just a big bungus for the sake of having a big bungus.

I’ve tried the 60 card version and I do personally prefer this one, it does have its weaknesses but I feel very comfortable with this build - same as salads I did 100 duels with this build and it’s been my fav competitive deck since I first got into serious play

BA after phantom rage is gonna be really fun, not tier 1 but similar to HERO definitely good enough for locals and regionals and maybe it’ll get a top at bigger tournaments

I agree with Nocto at 3, the card‘s very straight forward and can make worse hands easy full combo at worst while saving you an extender at best. But Tempest is still fine, it requires some setup but it‘s quite useful at times; but never more useful than Nocto.
