It’s crazy to me just how impressively tough the axles transfer cases an running gears are now. Use to that’s what broke on all the videos now you rarely see the higher end buggy’s break those things

I agree 100% i broke several t-case, driveshafts, axels and i hated that . My last one i needed to put the basted on a diet ,LS engine , rangover Axels, aluminium body , I am from Europe so i take what I can find

The coolest thing in the world building off-road cars , i have built a couple and generally i can say if you want horsepower in the 500 range it starts to drive cost , axels , transfer case is ripped apart fast at the same time you want low weight ,thanks god for the LS engines 💸

I have a GMC Jimmy 1978 K5 that I through a small block in it from a 1969 Camaro and it was blew printed and balanced it's big tires nothing like your rock monster.

Awesome video, awesome buggy. My only quibble is the tire choice. They just don’t seem good in the loose stuff or the slick wet rock. Need more lug spacing particularly in the center to get better traction in the loose stuff. Please for the sake of doing that awesome machine justice, put better tires on it. My opinion anyway. @@BustedKnuckleVideo I figured engine vacuum might not be reliable if it stalls at the wrong time. They do make electric vacuum systems but hydroboost gives you some assistance after the pump stops. Like you said manual is the way to go as far as reliability. I guess the manual systems are more powerful than needed so it ain't gotta work as hard. Man I'd sure like to go over every bit of those rigs just seeing what all y'all got in em
