I always love listening to Buster ❣️ His personal story about growing up as a kid is something I related to right away. 👍🇺🇸 RIP my friend 👍

I think Brad Buster Jones is one of the greatest technical guitarist that i ever heard. His right hand technique is a combination of speed, and power. His left hand fingers are so agile and powerful, and synchronize perfectly with his right hand.

I agree 100%. I think Buster B Jones was to finger style as Charlie Parker was to Jazz saxophone. Though he demonstrated incomparable technique, every note was heartfelt. He could play angry and intense as well as quiet and beautiful. I wish he was with us longer. RIP Buster.

Wow I'm glad I found this! My dad and I used to go down to the Chet Atkins conference very summer. We were here during this performance!! We followed Buster (Brad as he went by prior to having to change is stage/music name) for many years at the conference. Sad to see he has passed away. He was amazing to watch in person. i even purchased his training book/recordings but alas I'm still nowhere in the same universe to duplicating that!!

Sure do miss this boy. The CAAS convention seems a little emptier without Buster holding court. One of the greats, for sure.

@ShaneHennessyMusic Thanks for watching (and commenting). I have more videos of Buster and rare footage of Tommy Emmanuel on my channel I'm sure you'll find something you will like. I have lots more of the same with both of them and others in rare jamming situations which I will hopefully post over the coming weeks if I see there is a demand. Stay tuned!

D G D G B D open g tuning. Few can play as fast as Machine Gun Buster B but slow it down and you might be surprised at how easy it is along with many others in the open tuning since so many chords are based on a straight bar. give it a try. Other tunes Chet does in this tuning are the songs in the Stephan Foster Medley-Massa's in the cold cold ground, Camptown races and one other in that medley that I don't know the title.
