I can't tell you how many nights I went to sleep to this song... He would play it over and over to perfection..... This man had a huge impact on a lot of lives, he was smart good at what he did and most of all the best Dad I could ever had asked for.... I miss you Dad and I Love you

Hey Mama! For what it's worth, I just stumbled onto your dad and am enjoying hearing him play...and learning from him. I don't know how I never came across him before. What a generous soul. I'm 49 and a guitar player. I've been learning so much these last few days going down the Buster B. Jones rabbit hole. He shared so much knowledge through so many videos and was a great mentor. He still is and he's still having an impact on lives. It was nice reading your comment and getting a little more insight on him and I just feel compelled to let you know. He was truly selfless and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is grateful for for him. Love & light to you!

Hi Mama. I remember talking to your Dad back in 2010. He was always so passionate about the guitar, but also life. I wish I could have met him then, but I was a bit I'll. I'm much better now and will always be a huge fan of his talent 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Skaedis, I wrote "Goodbye Buster B." when I heard the tragic news. I'll be posting in a week or so. I had planned to meet him at this year's CAAS. When I heard the news, I was inspired to compose this tribute. I'll post it as a video response on this page. Such a loss.

@eric1love I agree, some kind of synthesised strings when a note is held on for a certain amount of time.
@chilblain113 жыл бұрын
Sounds like he's using a subtle Roland guitar synth patch underneath his picking. Very cool.

Pour un petit hommage à celui qui m'a fait aimé la guitare et son picking car sans lui je n'aurais jamais joué... Vous pouvez écouter la suite chez bobyjack2.

I find this video rather confusing. I have a video that I filmed that predates this where Buster explains the origins of the song. He wrote the song in memory of his own father who made shadows on the wall with his hands of birds and other images-hence the name Fingers in Flight. I suspect Buster was bending the truth a bit in this video.

@abaloneification Hi.... I uploaded this video this week. It's called -Buster B. Jones, 1999, CAAS, "Fingers In Flight". I have many videos of Buster and Tommy Emmanuel on my channel, please check them out.

This sounds like it could have been written by Tommy Emmanuel. He left behind some great music.
