Oh Jess, I have made so many little mistakes. Last night I had been cutting pattern paper, then mats for cards. Then when I picked up the next pattern paper, I cut it mat size. When I realized, I just laughed at myself. Then trimmed it correctly. I've glued card fronts on the back of completed cards as well. I used to stress bad about it, but now just laugh.

It was interesting to hear you narrate all the different thoughts you had about color, placement, finishing, etc. I do so much of that (in my head) and it was entertaining to know others are having that same stream of consciousness decision making process. Thanks for sharing your crafty brain!

Glad you thought it was interesting. I learned a lot from videos where crafters shared why they were making decisions so I try to included that as well.

Thanks for your creative variation - not boo-boo. It shows that we don't have to mat everything. For your twine you could color it with a marker or ink pad. Love your videos!!

Just this weekend I was doing a set of 4 cards. I built the cards first then glued them all to the card bases.... backwards. Yup we've all done it! BTW I love your card templates.

I have done some cutting errors which causes a little more work to fix - I try not to stress about it. Cause it happens and you just need to make the best of it.

Hi Jess. Your cards are precious. I have made many cutting errors and making "backward" cards. I think we all have. TFS. 💜🤗🦋

Jess, I just did that last week, I cut the mats the same size as the patterned paper. Lol I also bought the spiderweb ribbon, had to look at a couple of $tree stores to find it.

why not trim the floral piece to fit the purple mat?

Great cards and cute sketch, Jess. I have to travel for work this coming week. I'm thinking about putting together little card kit sleeves (like you😊) to craft a little bit while at the hotel at night. My problem is that I don't know which paper, sketch, supplies, etc that I want to work on. Any suggestions on how to pick supplies when you don't have any ideas in mind?

That seems like a great idea. I would consider what kind of cards I need or what kind of cards are always useful. If, for instance ,you need birthday cards use that as your starting point. If you don't need anything in particular I would flip through my paper until something caught my eye and use that as my starting point. Then I would pick a sketch that works well with that paper. For example, if it has a large pattern I don't want a sketch with lots of little pieces.

@@JessCrafts That's a big help, thanks. I already thought of an idea. Problem solved.

I had a college professor who taught that we don't have mistakes or problems, we have opportunities (to learn, to create, etc). Thanks, Bob! Miss you.
