Hi mate, Cadoni here. Last year I have publish my advance training schedules (not plug & play) and guess what: Two questions I have received. "My players does not improve" and last "training rating is low". People must understand that players have some hidden attributes and no hidden attributes: Player development is affected hugely by Ambition, Determination, Professionalism. Training Rating is affected by Morale & Condition as you said. Keep the good work here!

I have the progress tracker as one ofthe main tacks in the player profile. Every 3 months I check it for my young and best players (including youngsters and b team). if there s no progress, I'll go "dissapointed with lack of development). has never backfired, aside with negative personalities

i also never trust my coaches when they say how well a player is training, if you check the staff "responsibilities" there is a option under advice and training reports and the drop down list shows you all your coaches and highlights the all the coaching attributes. i think you get better advice from those coaches that have much higher attributes across the field rather than one, that has low WWY and other coaching ratings. the better coaches give (not better but)) more accurate advice on development

How does this correlate with the findings Zealand and his guy Macacao discovered that say Determination and Ambition have almost no effect on progression, and that Professionalism is the only attribute that has a large effect on it? Ambition does nothing, Determination seems to have little to no effect.

@@BusttheNet it seemed well thought out as an experiment with sensible controls. Essentially they saw identical growth in players with 1 Determination and Ambition as they did with 20, so long as the Professionalism was high. Ambition obviously effects player growth in AI teams as they will gravitate toward bigger teams with better facilities, and Determination helps overcome setbacks. The figures however seem legitimate.

Great vid man. Question: What are the notches in the graph for player development? I assume they can not be CA points? Is the graph a sort of look on progression rate and how he is currently doing? Meaning each month he has a multiplier towards his CA points gain, which will be high or low depending on the peak of that month.

Great video and love the GOT references! Could the way players react to training performance criticism, be based on their relationship with you? I believe a player who respects and admires you as a manager. Will be more likely to accept criticism. Even if it may appear that the criticism is unfair.

I can't help but feel that even when you chat to the player about their development this has no real effect on whether or not they will actually buck their ideas up. Can you prove it does have an effect?

fairly determined is better than resolute? damn, i was upset when musiala went from resolute to fairly determined in my last save with mentoring. looks like he did benefit!

also, he did have the "thinking about moving to a bigger club" on the dynamics page after the change so this does make a lot of sense.

Player can have 8 or 9 ambition and professionalism but 15 determination and be called "Fairly Determined" so no

@@BusttheNet I don't understand what you mean by that. In the matrix it shows that "fairly determined" has both ambition and professionalism and it also states that you should only use players with the "Green" personalities to mentor players with ONLY low professionalism. Does this mean that you shouldn't use players with a Resolute personality to mentor players with a "Fairly Determined" one? Any help is appreciated and as always, keep the great content coming.
