How long should I book an egg if I want a hard egg yolk I feel like I just waste gas by boiling it for 20 minutes. Similarly how long to poach an egg so yolk Dosent break as I try to remove it from pot.

Hard boiled takes 8-10 minutes, soft poached 3-4 minutes, hard poached about 6 👌😊👍

When I do hard boiled: add eggs to pot and water to cover by a few cm. Heat water/eggs until just easy boiling. Cover pot and remove from heat. Let sit for 10 mins. Then add eggs to an ice water bath for about 5 mins. Easy, uses less gas and eggs turn out great. May be worth a try and you can tweak it as needed. Cheers.

If you have a steamer basket you can steam your eggs in the shell and they peel much easier. You may use less gas since you don't have to boil as much water, but I'm not sure.
