Hate to see Mammoth become another heavily populated place. Cutting down trees and cutting and paving the mountain. What a shame😢.

Not so much these beautiful residential areas but agree about high rises. In the '80's I was disgusted to see gorgeous meadow center of town with clear cold trout creek turned into an ugly golf course. One day the Mt. will erupt again and decimate it all anyway. 😉 This is why it's crucial to have all vehicles banned in wilderness areas, I don't even like the pack trains, too easy access ruins everything, but they are established culture.
