Cheers Robin, peanuts are looking great! The Californian poppies are gorgeous, have just sown a few myself as bit of a trial. Bit of a pain with the grass getting into beds, but fresh start with new plants will look lovely 🙂🌱

Ya I think reworking the circle was the only way to go. The birds will just continue to drop presents there. Really don't want to move the birdhouse as it's positioned perfectly from the patio bar where we sit and watch the entertainment.

What a great idea with fishing line and it’s quite strong. Love the bird bath come plant stand ❤. I must remember to put my peanuts inside it’s supposed to drop to 4c nights next week 😱😱 and it’s freaking June. All looking fab I have to get a bucket and cold water to harvest lettuce too. Nice update, Robin! That’s a nice spruce-up of the yarrow bed.The only thing I didn’t get to sowing this weekend were my cucumbers due to rain. I got all my tomatoes in and my beans too before though! Plus a couple of last-minute summer squash seeds and some sunflowers. Hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Memorial weekend!

Well done on the planting out. We're due a high temp summer than average so I actually hope we keep getting the rains. Otherwise watering will be so hard.

I also have the French Breakfast radish, had it with lettuce and balsamico tonight, that was a good match. Might as well eat them all before they bolt. It's been so much warmer than usual here too, flowers that are supposed to bloom late June are blooming already. But rain and colder weather is coming, maybe May was the summer this year. :D Hey, I'll sow more radish then. Eat and repeat.

I can't get away with another round of radish now has we're heating up. I plucked off garlic scapes a full 2 weeks earlier than normal.

I have sections of my perennial beds where I just dig out everything every couple of years. Between the relentless grass, and the Black Eyed Susans, there's no other option if I want to get something different in there. We're having a rainy couple of days here in Niagara, as well. At least I won't have to water everything.🌿

Hi Robin I hope you're cucamelon seeds do well, I have seeds but I've not sown any this year because of my move, hopefully next year. I'll keep watching to see how they progress.👍❤️🙏👌😁

I have not done them in a few years. They are yummy as a garden snack. Think lime meets cucumber in a large grape size crunch. It's a fun novelty thing to let people try when visiting your garden. 😋❤

I'm such a radish gal too. But it's rare when I don't get bolting the way we heat up so fast. So sorry about your onions....you had such high hopes. I already harvested scapes off the garlic. ....about 2 weeks early. Only good thing is hopefully we'll get freed up beds for my beloved bush beans.
