That's a cool little cabin you built. Great content!

The cabin looks great! I'm rehabbing an old A-frame myself... out of curiosity, what did you do to keep the mice out?
@solojimoutdoorsКүн бұрын
Great question. I sealed it up really tight but also set traps and bait in and around cabin. Nothing will keep them out 100% but we are pretty close. We also put food, paper products and bedding in sealed containers when we are away.

Very cool! What state is the cabin located in? I’m curious about how reliable the solar system is during winter, if you have a back up generator, etc.

Thank you! I do have a generator back up and the cabin is wired for it, but so far, I have not had to use it. The fridge runs less in winter, so the solar is mainly just running lights and they are 12v led and don't use much power.

Shower? Didn’t see one.

You were paying attention! Thank you for watching. We currently have a nice outdoor shower but will soon be adding a shower house with additional toilet and maybe even a sauna.

Where's the shower?

I wondered who would be the first to ask that! You have great attention to detail. Currently we have a nice outdoor shower but soon to be shower house & sauna. Thank you for watching!

Ahhh he does glass for a living🤦🏽♂️

Try your local glass shop. They can order them for you. If you are on a budget, local glass shops are also a great source for low cost windows. Go in and ask if they have any mis-orders or seconds and they will usually sell those cheap.
