Just got myself some cheeses from Walnut Creek Cheese…a farm called Janoskis where I live sells Walnut Creek products, so I shop there for produce, some of their baked goods and their spice market. SO GOOD! I LOVE Walnut Creek!

It was so good to see you and the children reading a Bible story. When I was growing up Mom read the Bible and Dad prayed every night before we went to bed. That was in addition to the grace we said before every meal. Family devotions appear to be as scarce as hen's teeth in today's world, so I was very happy to see you and your kids having devotion. Many people have turned so far away from God and anything to do with Him and then they wonder why their children are so out of control. I think I could offer them a very good clue as to why that is so. I am very proud of you for holding to your high standards and for teaching your children about things that really matter.

It's truly wonderful to have the different generations together for special family time. You are so blessed. My Mother became a great grandmother in the months before she died, and I will always be grateful to God that she got to spend time with her great granddaughter and vice versa. Family is so important. A happy belated birthday to Oaklynn (such a beautiful name). She was surrounded with love on her special day and that's what makes special memories. The birthday cake was very pretty. It was lovely to see Oaklynn enjoy baking with you. She's such a happy little one, has an adorable smile. I so feel for your mom. I broke my hand at the end of October and have been out of my cast for several weeks and still can’t use my hand like I could. My fingers are frozen. I have to go thru a month of physical therapy. Wishing your mom a lot better healing than I’ve had.

What a fun video. It was actually really nice to see a nice simple and sensible birthday party for a 2 year old. Oaklynn was very happy with everything and the cakes turned out beautiful! Also you are so smart to thrift for kids toys, I was amazed at the nice things that were for sale. To each, his own but I think people go a little crazy on kids parties these days and spend a lot of money.
