Ashley, my washer has been doing the same thing. Try running an empty washer with vinegar hot water cycle. I stopped using fabric softener and just use vinegar in my wash. It’s stopped leaving grease marks. 😊

Hi Ashley! I noticed those spots and just an itchy feeling whenever I used those scent beads and even scented laundry detergent last year. Last year I switched to using the tide free & clear pods and used the lysol laundry sanitizer to help with the smell and keep everything clean. No more itchiness and no more spots. 😊

Hey Ashley, I was thinking about driving a motorcycle when I was growing up, but I broke my leg once I fell off my bike almost 32 years ago. It was early in my "8th-grade" year. I was 14 years old. I went too fast. I was physically hospitalized. I wore a long cast. Afterwards, I wore a short cast. Once it got off, I wasn't to return to P.E. until the middle of the school year. I wish it were possible for me to change the past, but I accept that I broke my leg. I shouldn't drive a motorcycle as my better choice that I made as I kept getting older. I'm continuing to get older. I played with the play balls at Walmart Supercenter. I held and bounced 'em. That's why I love the roundness. I just googled "draining a Samsung front loading washer" and there may be old water in the bottom of the washer that needs to be drained out. I don't know what model you have or if you have already tried this, but if you haven't, may be worth a try. We have the same problem with our top loading Samsung Washer, and there is an odor. I think we need to drain water too because there is also water in the fabric softener compartment. I need some muscles to help me, otherwise, I would have already tried it.

Try washing a load with absolutely no washing detergent, beads or anything to see if you get spots then you'll know 4sure if it's something to do with your washer. When I had the problem with the spots on my sheets from the beads was because I put too many sheets in there and I think they weren't able to dissolve good with all the sheets, I never had the problem b4 so it had to be me over filling. I have a top loader so I put them in and let some water run to start dissolving the beads and make sure I don't stuff it full so everything is moving freely in there. If you have a wet/dry shop vac you could try suctioning everything out and pull your detergent tray completely out.

If you have to buy another washer, don't purchase Samsung, Ashley! I have two friends who do repairs and they hate working on Samsung! I purchased a used set Samsung, the washer lasted two months, the dryer is great. I should have asked, I love the steam option in the dryer. Maytag or Whirlpool are reliable options.
