First Kazuto was asked by Agil to run the shop, than his foster Sister, Suguha came she was asked to help him, than Keiko turned up and became the Waitresses, than Asuna arrived and was shocked to see them there. She took the kitchen. Next was Shino coming in when terrifying customers came. Philia arrived next and returned the favor to Kazuto. Rika arrived to assist with the trades. Finally Yui arrived to find them working at the shop. When Agil returned he was surprised to see not only Kazuto, but his friends working.

I've got a question regarding the plot. You know how Kirito asks if Asuna is busy with vice-commander duties? Why is she still vice-commander? Wouldn't she have taken over the KoB after Heathcliff was unmasked, much in the same way she would have if he'd been killed without having been exposed? Please let me know, and thanks in advance.

It would depend on how the guild had set rankings and privileges. Remember that Kayaba intentionally wanted to get everyone to the final boss room where he would reveal himself as the final boss. He founded the KoB, and therefore, set the permissions attributed to his guild.

@@ultimavishtein5269 Interesting. Still, it stands to reason somebody had to take over running the Guild once he was gone even if he, or she, had to do so unofficially given the privileges you mentioned. Do you know who that "someone" is? In any case, thanks for the tidbits.

@@Falchion1984 the thing is that would naturally fall upon whoever is next in line. Some mmo's have 1 or more guild leaders running a single guild or have moderators as acting leaders, such as Asuna, who is the Vice Commander. She still leads the guild, but she doesn't have complete access to make all sorts of changes. I say this from personal experience having been a guild leader myself, I had set guidelines to follow, and people to take my place in any contingency. But if you take into account that Kayaba set restrictions to the guild rankings, and I don't personally know if you've played Hollow Fragment, but assuming you have, you would have several final boss fights. If you haven't, then I won't spoil anything more, point is Asuna is in charge, but she isn't the official leader because spoilers. XD
