This is by far the busiest Saturday afternoon I have recorded in years. Amerijet which I do not normally see on Saturday did a early morning arrival from Miami, if the flight schedule gets push back and they have to come on a Saturday they will....but it is rare...sadly I did not get the departure to Barbados. To add the rush hour mic we had two special VIP flights from Miami, a 757 and a E-175. Take note a total of four American Airlines are in this video with two flights from Miami....Speedbird was delayed so I didn't get the mighty 777 departing..... Air Canada Rouge was missing in action.....enjoy :)

Wonder why the American airlines 737 and a320 are parked facing away from the terminal? Would it have to do with the new markings (if there's any) on that section of the apron after it was resurfaced?

They do have new markings but am not sure as to why they decide to park like that..

They were parked like that to squeeze more aircraft up on the main ramp. If they were parked faced in they would have to make a hard turn which means less aircraft can park whereas them parked facing outwards they can just roll out without using too much thrust

What I would love to see happen in my lifetime is a new terminal with jetbridges.....current terminal is operating beyond its limit at peak hours ...many are calling for push back tugs....but sadly nothing is happening
