My apartment advice would be LESS IS MORE! I understand it’s a studio and there is space to fill but even when you didn’t have that space in your last place, I feel like you try to create every “room” inside one room. Like a dining area, a living room area, a study space, a vanity. I feel like there’s a table in every single corner! And now you’re talking about adding a couch and ANOTHER coffee table, that’ll have your desk/vanity , tv stand table, work table and dining corner table all next to them. Less is way more! So as a fix, I’d definitely say find a cute couch that can either back up into your bed, or have 3-4 ft of walking space between, with a coffee table in front of the couch, mount the tv, hide the cords and have NOTHING below the tv! Maybe a floor plant to the side to distract from the fact that there’s no “tv stand”. Decorate UP! Hang things, make the room feel lighter by bringing the eye up. All of the tables and seating options make the room SO heavy feeling!!

Exactly, thank u

Yess love this advice! I live in a studio myself and less is truly more. A bed is obvi crucial, and a couch to relax in with maybe a small coffee table, but then leave it to one table for your other needs (my table is dining table, office, vanity, and work spot) and it works great. Hang stuff on the walls and add plants and hide the clutter and any cords you got and you elevate it 🙏🏻

Hi Kristee! I’m commenting because I saw the snarky comment about your decor style lol. I feel like we have VERY similar taste in furniture/style! I’m finally in my own grown up apartment after living with roommates for years and decorating my own place has been an undertaking! It feels SO hard to spend big money on decor and furniture pieces! For a long time I found myself buying small decor items that didn’t really do enough for my space or I’d make some compromise with myself to buy an item that was cheaper than what I really wanted. While I still use a lot of white, pink, and gray, I found that bringing in more natural wood tones (besides just my floors) and fake greenery made SUCH a difference in warming up my space and making it a place I really enjoy. I also use some strategically placed twinkle lights and lots of warm lamps that somehow reduce my feelings of stress! One cheap thing I did to make sure I liked the wood tone thing was finding really high quality textured wood contact paper to redo the tops of my nightstands. And I already told you about mounting my tv which made my smaller tv console table look good! I am loving watching your space take shape and am excited for when you find yourself a good cozy couch and are able to feel more settled! I think that will help your stress level a lot!

I've never had the added pressure of doing social media but I've juggled full-time work and as a single mum and even added a return to uni as a mature student to really torture myself silly 🙄 When starting new jobs I always find that it takes a good month or so for everything to really slot into place with eachother after tweaks to make it work. Sometimes something just has to give because there just aren't enough hours and even on a daily basis there are always work tasks that take a lot longer than expected that throw the best laid plans. I find priority matrixes really helpful- for overall weekly and daily plans and to incorporate pesky changes.

Hey Kristee, my therapist had me do a "Kelsey's Hierarchy of Needs" of Maslow's theory. It helped me conceptualize the idea that I cannot work on my job, my passion projects, if I'm not taking care of the basic needs. It helps me also notice burnout before it gets really bad. Maybe that would help you with your overworking?

aaah I was fooled by IG and some YTers too. That pan sucks. It's cute - yes, it is non stick - somewhat yes, it's heavy AF ABSOLUTELY. You add some liquid in it and it can break your wrist lifting it. The lid fyi gets SUPER hot and if you touch the lid when you're trying to pull from the top be careful or else it will burn you. The metal handle is also a cluster, since if you grab it short of the limited coated area you'll also get burned by the metal piece.
@kristee.vetter3 жыл бұрын

I’m not biased and don’t sell this product but as a caterer I swear by Princess house pans. Even the non stick product can still be used it it’s chipped as the material goes all the way down, I use them a lot in my business. I also like the copper chef products and they are safe to use when scratched too😀. Just my 2 cent lol
@beam28363 жыл бұрын
I was feeling the impulse to buy one during the sale but then I searched on reddit first and I'm so glad I did. Apparently the coating chips a ton and it doesn't really make sense to glorify "one pan" when most meals require multiple things cooking at once. Cute marketing is insidious cuz they really almost had me fooled!

You can’t even put it in the oven! For $150 it doesn’t do enough. For so much less you can get a cast iron pan that will do both. Or a quality German made skillet(still under $100) that is nonstick and lighter weight if that is important. I am not saying I don’t get swayed by insta ads a lot but the over saturation of these when they are not great quality is crazy!!!!!
